Admissions for the 2026/2027 academic year are currently open. Applications are accepted from January through June each year, subject to availability. Check our Admissions page for the current status and deadline.
- Baby Class: 2.5 – 3 years
- Nursery: 3 – 4 years
- KG1: 4 – 5 years
- KG2: 5 – 6 years
- Standard 1: 6 – 7 years
Children must have reached the minimum age by January 1st of the year they enrol.
You will need: (1) Birth certificate (original + certified copy), (2) 4 recent passport-size photographs, (3) Previous school report card for transfer students, (4) Medical/immunisation records, (5) Parent/guardian national ID copy, (6) Completed application form — downloadable from this website.
Yes, we accept transfer students throughout the year subject to class availability. Transfer students must provide a transfer letter from their previous school and the last two terms' report cards.
Fees range from TZS 450,000 per term for Baby Class to TZS 700,000 per term for Standard 5–7. A full fee structure is available for download on our Admissions page. Fees are reviewed annually.
School fees can be paid via: (1) M-Pesa Paybill: 123456, Account: SHULE BORA, (2) Tigo Pesa: 0754321000, (3) CRDB Bank account 0150123456789 at Mikocheni Branch, (4) Cash at the school bursar's office. Always include the student's name and class reference.
Yes! Families with 2 or more children enrolled at Shule Bora receive a 10% discount on the second child's tuition fees. This applies to the tuition component only, not mandatory levies. Please enquire at the bursar's office.
The school day runs from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Gates open at 7:00 AM. Students should be collected by 4:00 PM. For office enquiries, we are open 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM on school days.
Yes, we operate a school bus service covering major routes in Kinondoni, Mikocheni, Msasani, Masaki, and Oyster Bay. Transport fees range from TZS 180,000–250,000 per month depending on the route. Contact the office for current routes and availability.
We offer: Football, Netball, Basketball, Swimming, Chess, Debate Club, Drama & Theatre, School Band, Art & Craft, Computer Club, Science Club, and Scouts. Most activities run after school from 3:30–5:00 PM.
We follow the Tanzania national curriculum. Kiswahili is the medium of instruction from Standard 1 onwards as per government policy. English is taught as a core subject from Baby Class, and both languages are actively used throughout the school.
We use: WhatsApp class groups for daily updates, termly written reports, parent-teacher meetings (twice per term), our school website and Facebook page for announcements, and a physical notice board at the school entrance.
